After a day of enjoying your favorite outdoor activity, we hope that you consider staying at the Medix Run Lodges and Cabins for your next vacation, located conveniently off of Route 555, near Benezette, PA.


We offer 11 cabins for up to 8 occupants, our lodging is second to none in the area. We have fully furnished Air-conditioned cabins with up to 1500 square feet of living space and a front porch positioned to offer panoramic viewing of the Medix Run Valley.


Additionally, we have introduced comfortable overnight cabins that are beautifully decorated, but have limited furnishings (See Accommodations Link).

Stay in the Heart of Elk Country

The cabins are adjacent to trails and road systems that provide many miles of hiking, horseback riding, fishing, recreational vehicle riding, with many scenic vistas for your viewing pleasure.


Whether you are here for a casual overnight stay or an extended stay, we offer a relaxing atmosphere right in the heart of the best wild game viewing in Elk County. We are in close proximity to Benezette as well as many public hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking and canoeing areas.

Our property specifically is home to many, mature bulls who make our property home. The famous town of Benezette is only minutes away. We are happy to assist you in giving you a driving route for the best Elk viewing possible.

  • How much is needed to reserve a booking?

    Full payment is due at time of booking.

  • Do you allow pets?

    We welcome in each Efficiency Cabins (#2-#6), ONE small to moderate sized pet, however, we do have rules and they are listed below. See the "policies" page for more details.

  • Do you have an off-season?

    Yes, the resort is closed every winter through spring—November 30-March 31.
